"A SEVERE IDEA RECESSION"
Is it a sign of the times that so many executives are exceedingly timid when it comes to taking the initiative in business? James Champy thinks so, and implores corporate leaders to rediscover their ambition, thereby jumpstarting the general economy.

I usually don't pay much mind to these Fast Company executive guest columns, as they're usually just pitches for the authors' services. And this one by Champy certainly falls into that category. But he does makes some good points, especially regarding an environment that's seeming allergic to new ideas. Thus the title of this post, taken from the article.
