The Critical 'I'

Read. React. Repeat.

I made a brief mention about a month ago about how China's population of websurfers was growing. Now, the latest numbers are in: 79.5 million Chinese citizen are on the Web, good for third place behind the U.S. (126 million) and Japan (100 million).

It's a sheer numbers game: China and India, each with more than a billion in population, have tons more untapped potential in online users than the America, which is much closer to a saturation point.

The point I was making a month ago, about how the Web will change once the majority of its users speak Chinese, will be interesting to see play out.
