Who could forget that Taco Bell-pitching chihuahua? It's been years since they put that ad campaign to bed, but to this day, "Yo quiero Taco Bell!" still elicits familiarity. A gold mine for the taco shack, for sure.

Too bad they stole the idea. So sayeth the courts, which ruled that Taco Bell's corporate parent must pay $30 million to the guys who came up with the concept.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Then again, what is $30 million to a behemoth company like YUM! Brands? Nothing, a drop in the bucket. It's not going to be missed from the corporate coffers at all. And considering how much money that dog raked in, the company came out light years ahead in the deal.
