THE FUTURE OF SODA VENDING TECHNOLOGY
The commercial potential of wireless technology was on display recently at the DEMOmobile exhibition in San Diego. Among the possibilities: rigging vending machines to double or triple the price of its sodas when the temperature gets higher, and accordingly, dropping it on cooler days.

Actually, most of the applications suggested in this report are cellphone-centric, as finding additional revenue opportunities in that market is catching everyone's fancy. (I think it's a lost cause, actually.) The best company name I've seen in a long while is mentioned here: Shazam Entertainment Inc. Too bad their product sucks--who on earth would use this??
